SUWADA Black Nail Nipper

The Black L/S follows the same curved-blade format as the Classic L/S, but uses carbon steel with a black finish. Carbon steel should be wiped clean and dry after use; a small amount of oil on the steel helps protect it during storage.

Cutting performance

As with other SUWADA nail nippers, the two blades are hand-fitted during final assembly (aiba) so the cutting edges meet cleanly. This is designed to leave a clean nail edge, so routine filing after cutting is generally unnecessary.

How it differs from Classic

The key differences are the carbon-steel body and black finish. The Black series therefore needs a little more care after use than the stainless Classic series.
